Ken Mierzwinski, CPA and Managing Partner of “Relief” Accounting & CFO Services.
I am very ambitious and passionate when it comes to managing “Relief” Accounting & CFO Services. My goal is to be the number one CPA accounting firm that provides accounting & CFO services in the Canna Space. I have over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of accounting, including financial, managerial, tax, cost, auditing and forensic. I have climbed the ladder with my work experiences. My most recent challenge is starting a Cannabis only CPA firm and to provide World Class accounting and CFO services to the Cannabis industry.
Who We Are:
Relief Accounting & CFO Services (“Relief”) is based in Northern California in the city of San Ramon. We are only a few hours away from the “Emerald Triangle,” the largest Cannabis -producing region in the United States. Relief has over 100 employees spread throughout the United States and is growing rapidly to accommodate the Cannabis industry. We provide Bookkeeping, Accounting, Tax, Assurance (compilations, reviews and audits), and CFO services. We belong to a national network of Cannabis accounting experts, including CPAs, EAs and CFOs who are focused solely on the Cannabis space. We have a proprietary chart of accounts for grow, extract and dispensary that helps correctly record 280e/cost accounting transactions and is tailored for the industry. We know how to record 280e/cost accounting and produce monthly first-class financials so you can stay in compliance with state and IRS law, as well as maximize your cash flow. We believe that Relief is a leader in the Cannabis Industry.
AnnRina Santiago
AnnRina Santiago is more than just a bookkeeper for your Cannabis business.
She supports the backbone of the accounting system. AnnRina develops a bookkeeping system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. She manages all accounts payable activity and oversees sales and receipts analysis. Manages account reconciliations & research reconciling items for Credit card reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and daily cash reconciliations for retail locations. Maintains and balances general ledger by reviewing the trial balance and posting reconciling entries. Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions. Payroll processing and reporting. Basic HR duties. Contributes to month-end inventory counts.
Lisa Brubaker, Esq.
Lisa Brubaker, Esq. is a former Wall Street proprietary trader turned legal/business manager and nightlife consultant. Lisa most recently was the General Manager at Flaming Saddles West Hollywood, a multi-million multi-concept restaurant/bar/nightclub, until Covid-19 forced closures across the hospitality industry. Since then, she has re-focused on accounting and CFO advisory services for clients in the cannabis space. She has JD/MBA from Fordham University as well as extensive cannabis specific training. The cannabis industry holds a special place in her heart, her father is still alive because of CBD therapies and medicinal marijuana. In her spare time, she dabbles in real estate investments and documentary film production.
Lisa’s is proficient in QuickBooks, Billing and Invoicing, Cultivation, Type 7 Manufacturing, Dispensary Accounting, Metrc, General Ledger Cleanup and Audit Preparation Services. She is an active member of Dope CFO.
Kelley Gibbs
Seasoned Chief Financial Officer with a passion to work with and support Cannabis Companies. Versatile business executive delivering value at all levels—from building and implementing accounting systems; strategic planning, HR, legal filings, accounting, and Board governance. Trusted partner with Presidents, CEOs, Board of Directors, and other leaders. Excellent communication skills including funding presentations, audits, employee meetings. Thrives in a can-do and will-do environment.
Kelley is proficient in Chart of Accounts, QuickBooks, Billing and Invoicing, Cultivation, California Compliance, Dispensary Accounting, General Ledger Cleanup and Audit Preparation Services. He is an active member of Dope CFO.
